Live Acne-Free with these tips

By Marcel Stephenson

Living acnefree may seem like a dream, but using some of these tips you will be able to be acne free, perhaps forever.

Oil and bacteria are the main causes of acne, and it is important to know before trying to take on the acne problem.

During the change into adulthood you will experience your sweat to be more oily, this is due to hormonal imbalances.

This sweat is loaded with bacteria that your body is trying to eliminate and when this oily substance mixes with dead skin cells, they clog some of the pores and causing these pores to become infected which will result into pimples. These pimples are filled with clogged bacteria and most people can not resist the urge to start popping them.

This leads directly to our first tip.

1st Tip: No harsh scrubbing or popping of pimples.

By popping pimples when you see them you are making acne spread, not getting rid of it. So, if you are in the habit of popping pimples, stop, don't do it.

Have patience and in time they will pop by themselves.

If you don't want to irritate your skin even further then you should not be scrubbing your face raw everyday. Rather, find a good defoliant that is recommended for removing dead skin cells.

Tip 2: Stay away from oily foods

You should try and avoid certain foods that are full of oils that find their way to your skin. If you consume too many of these foods, the oil in your body increases and you may find yourself depositing oil in the skin of your face, making it a perfect breeding ground for acne causing bacteria.

3rd Tip: Control the Bacteria

You should keep your face as clean as possible, using an antibacterial scrub at night is a good idea. Applying tea tree oil has a strong antibiotic effect and will reduce bacteria.

4th Tip: Watch out for Advertising Hype

Some studies recently conducted have proven most acne products to be a complete waste of money.

Finally, if you avoid oily foods and keep your face clean you are very likely to live an acne-free life, all the best to you!
